UDONPITTAYANUKOON SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM International Program Building Udonpittayanukoon School | Makhaeng | Udon Thani | Thailand COURSE SYLLABUS M30103 | BIOLOGY Semester 1 | School Year 2019-2020 Teacher: Mr. Jayrald Steve D. Jose, LPT I. Description This course is designed to provide an opportunity to investigate an area of Biology and the integral part of everyday life biology plays. We will investigate the composition, diversity and living things are connected on earth. Fundamental concepts of cell structure and function, cellular chemical composition, cellular transport. Moreover, this course offers the students to learn how photosynthesis is happening in plants. Furthermore, the students will understand the Light Dependent Reaction and Dark Independent Reaction. II. Evaluation Students are evaluated through various assessment methods. High points are given to the summative assessment which includes Midterm and Final Examination. In this course, students are assessed through the Knowledge – Process – Attitude scheme which is presented below. Catering to their Multiple Intelligence, this course also encourages students to harness their unique skills and relate it in Biology.
