The Pitch Title ‘Acres of Fun’ Logline Struggling with confidence, Sandra visits the Walesby Forest and discovers the true meaning of friendship. Characters Sandra - a shy child that is struggling with confidence Kelly - a fearless and adventurous rock climber Rick - a daring and energetic water sports enthusiast Homer - a precise and confident archer Story Sitting in the back of a car, Sandra clutches her toy tightly as she leaves the city behind and heads toward a woodland area. Upon arriving at Walesby Forest, she is greeted by a staff member and lead past the Robin Hood statue. Sandra looks up at the statue in amazement when suddenly she is approached by a small group of children. A slightly older girl reaches her hand out, inviting Sandra to follow the group. The group of children visit the various activities around the forest. Each of the 3 children is an expert in one of the activities as they have visited Walesby Forest before. The children explore the lake, rock climbing and archery. Whilst taking part in each of the activities, Sandra slowly gains confidence and has fun with the other children. When the day has finished and nightfall approaches, the children lay by the campfire together and look up at the stars; a perfect way to end a perfect day.
