chicken toe)

Sample: Pet owners should feed their pets
organic pet food because the food is fresher
than canned food.
2. Next, PROVE your topic sentence with TEXT
EVIDENCE.
Sample: I know this because in the article
“Feeding Fido”, it says “The company’s sell pet
food made of fresh meat and poultry.”
3. Provide an Argument = explain it from your
brain (in your own words) why your text
evidence supports your topic sentence.
Sample: I know that when I eat food, I want it
to be fresh. If I can buy fresh food for my pet, I
bet it would be better for him too. That’s why,
organic pet food is the way to go.
