Climate Change
In today’s modern, tech-fueled world, there is a large problem that is not taken as
seriously as it should be. Climate change has taken a hold upon our world and it’s holding it
steady. Experts say, by the year 2030 climate change would be irreversible. That may seem like
a long time. 10 years is plenty of time, but eventually it becomes 5 years, then 3 years, then 1
year, and nothing has been done about it. Without any drastic action happening, our planet
will be doomed and there wont really be anything that we can do about it, and if there is itll
have to be really big and expensive, all the while using a lot of resources that could be used for
other things.
The reason climate change is such a big deal is because of the impact it has upon our
Earth. As of 2018, The global temperature has risen about 1.5 degrees celcius which will cause a
lot of problems, such as the Oceans rising up. The sea level has risen approximately 19
centimeters from 1901-2010 due to the ocean warming up and ice melting
We have the resources to clean the earth up. Although it would be expensive, if the top
10 billionaires in the world pledged even a fraction of their wealth, we could reach a set
financial goal in no time flat.
A lot of the reason of climate change is due to manufacturing companies. They require a
lot fuels to power their big factories. Most of the time the fuels are fossil fuels, or fuels that are
non-renewable due to the fact they takes thousands of years of organisms to decompose. A lot
of our fuels are old dinosaurs which is kind of cool to think about. Many organizations are
planning on going green, such as nesquik which they say that they are 98% clean, and estimate
to be at 100% clean by the year 2020.
