be given a topic (substance
abuse, addiction, peer pressure,
drug types and effects) in which
they will discuss, brainstorm, and
elaborate by writing their prior
knowledge on chart paper. After,
each group will move from table to
table (gallery walk) reading and
adding to other groups topics.
Once all groups have made their
way around, the class will have a
discussion on what they learned
through their topics and their
peer’s topics.
For an exit pass, students will
complete a KWL chart on the
teachings for the day.
