Grid-Magnetic Azimuth Conversion
1. Match one of the declination diagrams below to your map declination diagram.
2. Convert the azimuth.
NOTE: Use the grid-magnetic (G-M) angle from your map, not from the
example below.
To convert a
magnetic azimuth
to a grid azimuth,
subtract G-M angle
To convert a
magnetic azimuth
to a grid azimuth,
subtract G-M angle
To convert a
magnetic azimuth
to a grid azimuth,
add G-M angle
To convert a
grid azimuth to a
magnetic azimuth,
add G-M angle
To convert a
grid azimuth to a
