Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A) is a computer-based test trusted by Government
entity, Universities and colleges in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and other
developed nations around the world for academic programs and immigration purposes. The

Test Format
It is 3 hours of the test, which consists of 4 modules starting with PTE Speaking, PTE Writing
followed by PTE Reading and lastly PTE Listening. There are 20 tasks which are divided
among these four modules. 5 are in speaking, 2 are in writing, 5 are in reading and 8 tasks in
