A pleasant afternoon to each and everyone, especially to the esteemed AACCUP accreditors! As part of the WVSU system where excellence is a tradition, WVSU Himamaylan City Campus being the newest satellite campus, has no choice but to stretch its academic muscle in providing the best educational experience to our students. But this will not be possible without the collaboration with our partner, the AACCCUP accreditors. So our heartfelt gratitude to the accreditors: Dr. Gerolyn B. Javier, Prof. Alberto C. Arellano, Dr. Bernardo G. Magbanua, Prof. Robert E. Alvarez, and Dr. Chona C. Fullido, for taking the time and effort to be with WVSU HCC virtually for the Preliminary Survey Visit despite the situation… because this pandemic can never stop us from taking off in accreditation since WVSU HCC has just converted into a satellite campus through RA 11308. We are very thankful to our esteemed accreditors because we know that through this accreditation process, we would see again important changes and transformations of our campus based from the insights, inputs, suggestions, and recommendations. And to the WVSU HCC community… Congratulations, for surviving the process! I am sure that the experience we gained in this PSV will equip and prepare us in the next visit of AACCUP. We commend the cooperation, dedication, and commitment of the WVSU-HCC community headed by our dear campus administrator, Dr. Genesis G. Camarista! And of course with the support and guidance of the WVSU officials headed by our University President Dr. Joselito F. Villaruz, represented by our Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Porferio J. Barlas, Jr. To the very supportive WVSU Director of Instruction Dr. Alona Belarga and Quality Assurance Coordinator Dr. Dolly Rose F. Temelo who’s with us this afternoon… To our partner since the existence of this campus in 2006, the unending support of the Local Government of Himamaylan City headed by Mayor Raymond Tongson, Jr. Everyone’s contribution in this PSV is counted and appreciated--- to our QA Coordinator, Mrs Annaliza Tibayde, to the Director Dr Virgie Tan, to the program heads, PSV task force, admin officer Mr Henry Sarrosa, Jr. Our heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and staff who spent sleepless nights to prepare for this academic endeavour. Thank you once again for being part of this academic gathering in promoting academic excellence and helping each other out in ensuring that we will give the best educational experience to the generation who will inherit this country. God bless us all!
