In Unity there is Power
Gender relations, like all social relations are multi stranded; they embody ideas and values.
Together they allocate better work between different domains and tasks. Hence gender equality
is crucial in every community and society. Men and Women should have equal rights for a
society to be well developed, such as education rights, job and payment rights especially that
women deserve the same education as men, and that gender equality can have many economic
and social benefits in a society. Firstly, gender equality play a huge role in the economy growth
of a country. Women in jobs and business areas can be very productive and can be more creative
than men. Studies have shown that businesses with at least 30% women in leadership are 15%
more profitable. Every day we fail to deliver gender equality we pay the price. On the other
hand, gender equality have a large effect on the social growth and behavior in a community
especially against women. Inequality between genders is a main cause in violence against
women which can lead to an unbalanced community and lead to social tensions between genders.
However I believe women and men should have the same rights but in the same time they can’t
be totally equal and can’t have the same responsibilities. Men and women are different from each
other and I believe that is a great thing, and instead of making one sex equal to the opposite sex I
think that each sex should learn from the other which can lead into equality between them. God
created each one of them unique in their own beautiful way so that together with their differences
they create a beautiful and balanced world.
