SECURE GATEWAY UNIVERSAL
PORT
The Secure Gateway Universal Port
service offers a centralized
aggregated Hub that securely
connects multiple sites -- located in
multiple locations worldwide -- with
an inherent redundant and automatic
failover.
SECURE GATEWAY RETAIL AND
REMOTE OFFICE
This is a site-based Management
overlay service that provides secure
and encrypted connectivity back to
the customer's corporate WAN. This
service is suitable for use as backup
connectivity or for a small branch
office.
OUTSOURCED MANAGEMENT
Outsouced Managment enables
Resellers to focus their resources
on their own value added service
expertise while Verizon manages
their end-users' Corporate network
during both normal operation and
unplanned outages.
GLOBAL COVERAGE – SLA
BACKED
This service is a redundant port
design located in 10 data centers
throughout US, EMEA, APAC and
LATAM. It offers site management
capabilities that span 49 countries
worldwide. We also offer a
competitive SLA covering both the
port and site elements of the
service.

access to
applications on their
Private IP service, no
matter where they're
located.
The benefits of Secure Gateway.
• SG provides secure, costeffective and reliable
connectivity for your end-users
that are small office/home office
and remote office locations.
• It connects your corporate
headquarter resources via the
Verizon Private IP network to
remote sites leveraging
broadband, wireless, or
dedicated access to the public
Internet.
• Can be used as either primary or
backup service at remote
locations.
Service components of SG.
• At least one Secure Gateway
Universal Port is required.
• Leverages industry-standard
security protocols IPsec, 3DES,
and AES.
• Remote sites can use a
combination of Reseller provided
transport to the end-user’s
requirements.
Aggregated Port design allows
Resellers to configure their own
overbooking.
• Resellers can elect for a single
SGUP (Secure Gateway
Universal Port) or multiple ports
to connect their SGRRO (Secure
Gateway – Retail and Remote
Office) site traffic.
• Worldwide availability based on
Cisco 7609 infrastructure.
