Municipality of Zaragoza Local Public Transport Route Plan 2020-2025 A. Transportation and Road Network The municipality of Zaragoza is bounded by six(6) municipalities, five(5) of which are situated in the province of Nueva Ecija and one in province of Tarlac. By these boundaries the municipality has established and maintained 6 exit points. Three of these exit points are considered common and principal exit points. These are the Aliaga Exit Points (via Bucot), the Sta Rosa Exit point via the Sta Rosa Poblacion area, and the Tarlac exit Point via Lapaz Tarlac. These are well developed and paved road networks utilizing the existing Highways. There are also three minor exit points in the municipality: The Jaen exit points via Marawa ; the San Antonio exit points via Sta Barbara and Aliaga Exit Point via Sta Monica. These exit points are now developed road networks. The three major exit points are being utilized by the different transport system that ply the-Zaragoza-Cabanatuan line and the Zaragoza Tarlac City Line. On the other hand, the minor exit points utilizes tricycles as passage vehicles. A. Transport System These are several transport groups that cater to the travel needs of the peopleof Zaragoza. Jeeps ply the Cabanatuan-Zaragoza route, while others ply the Zaragoza-Tarlac City Route. Commercial Buses plying the Cabanatuan City-Manila line, Cabanatuan City Baguio City line and Baler-Manila line are regularly pass in transit to serve the residents of the municipality. Mobility in the municipal and intra-municipal as well as intra barangay levels are affected with the tricycles that were given by the Local Government Unit of Zaragoza to utilize defined transport routes. 1 Municipality of Zaragoza Local Public Transport Route Plan 2020-2025 B. Tricycle and Bicycle Lane Tricycle and Bicycle Lane are placed at the paved road shoulder of the National and provincial roads. There are cases that tricycles and bicycles are no alternative routes going to the Zaragoza Public Market other than the road shoulder of the National Highway. These are the Barangay’s of H. Romero, Gen Luna, Carmen, Sto Rosario Young, Sto Rosario Old, Macarse, Mayamot and Valeriana. C. Tricycle Alternative Routes There are Six (6) alternative routes for tricycles going to the Zaragoza Public Market and nearby Barangay’s These are the Del Pilar East-Concepcion Road, from Municipal Hall exit to Zaragoza-San Antonio Municipal road near Balibago Waterworks. The San Isidro to Pantoc Barangay Road exit to Pantoc National Road beside Pantoc Brgy. Hall. The Del Pilar East to San Isidro Barangay road exit to the rear entrance of the Zaragoza Public Market. The San Isidro to Pantoc Barangay Road exit to Pantoc National Road towards Pantoc Brgy. Hall. The Pantoc to Carmen Brgy.
