Monitoring block is necessary to compare master and slave drive. There are two versions for Simocrane BT
V3.0. These are V3.0.0.1 and V3.0.1.0. Upgrade of the monitoring block from V3.0.0.1 to V3.0.1.0 is not
necessary and can be left in the project. If upgrade is wished following changes has to be done in all Slave
drives and Monitoring block.
Slave drives: In all slave drives go the interface of the MCC Source (double click) and change the value of the
variables xxx_2_tolerancevelocitymonitoring and xxx_2_tolerancecurrentmonitoring to percent value instead of
mm/s and A (ampere).
Monitoring block: In the subroutine call of the monitoring block please connect
“real_to_Lreal(xxx_1_nominalCurrent)” to ‘r64nominalCurrent’.
