• ICT platforms have given me an advantage to become a valuable member of my community
through the different tools that they have which have the capacity to reach my target
audience.
• For example, in one of my class projects I was asked to create a website that will serve as a
tool to raise awareness about environmental issues that affect my community and the
Philippines as a whole. Therefore, I created a website that I named Jeiane’ s environmental
blog in which I advocated for environment issues that currently affects the Philippines.

• As a student in the current online learning system, my main source of information is the
Internet by using tools such as Google search, YouTube, specific educational websites and
so on.
• As for my chosen track of STEM and my plan to pursue a bachelors degree in IT, the ICT
platforms that I have learned to use this semester will prove to be essential tools. In short,
ICT will be the future of my chosen track.
