• Having analyzed all the administrative agencies, the
most responsible agency for addressing the healthcare
issue is President Obama administrative agency.
• President Obama signed an order with the key
intention of improving access to mental healthcare
service. The immediate benneficiaries were military,
service members and veterans on August 31st 2012.
• This order was to enabled the stakeholders entrance to
mental health care by through establishing working
relationship with relevant authorities.
Justification of selected issue
The Obama administrative agency addresses the
issues of mental health by;
• Implementation of national campaign to reduce
the stigma by those who are suffering with
mental health
• Alignment of Federal programs which is critical in
orienting of mental health towards recovery
• Involving families and other stakeholders in fight
against the mental illness.

• Mental healthcare plays key role to living
balanced and healthy life (Lowman, 2019).
• The policy has the framework of addressing the
healthcare system in a long term basis hence
staying to solve the problems of generations
• legislating the issue will ensure that the members
of the public and people suffering with mental
illness are given necessary protection
Choosing role in mental healthcare
Personally, I would choose to be the Campion
for the mental healthcare issue selected for
the current and the two previous presidents.
As champion, I will help the government create
an awareness, based on facts about the
dangers of mental healthcare and why it
should be addressed.
Conclusion
• Mental healthcare remains to be the
challenge that need to be addressed urgently.
• Addressing mental health requires multi-team
approach by all the stakeholders
• The challenge has the solution despite the
challenges of implementing various programs
