EDUCATIONAL BROCHURE ASSIGNMENT - This assignment is worth 30 marks.
For this assignment, you will create a “3-fold brochure”. This document will be used to share
information on the tooth to students. It should be appealing so the use of images is important.
FORMAT: You will use the provided WORD template for this assignment. The template will have
the general format set up for you and you will have to choose pictures and text.
CONTENT: Your brochure will have six sections:
Front page
o Title
o Your name and class
Second page
o Types of teeth in humans
o Different functions of these teeth
Third page
o Define the areas – crown, neck, and root
o Include a suitable image to represent this
Fourth and Fifth page
o Give information on the function of the parts enamel, dentine, pulp cavity (with nerve
endings and blood vessels), cementum and periodontal ligaments.
Sixth page
o Include links to the resources used to create your brochure. You cannot just cut and
paste information from websites. That is plagiarism. Please SUMMARIZE and write in
your own words. You will be penalized for plagiarism.
