Tear out the perforated color “quick sheets” at the back of this book and staple them
together so you can study even when you don’t have your book.
Resist the temptation to skip straight to the science. Instead, start by reading the first
three chapters (only 28 pages!).
As you finish a chapter (including the practice problems!), check it off on the Table of
Contents.
Obtain PIN (required to take the OAT and apply to Optometry school!) at ada.org/en/
oat/apply-to-take-the-oat, then apply to take the OAT.
Contact Prometric (prometric.com) to arrange the date, time and location for your
OAT administration.
Take a moment to admire your completed checklist, then get back to the business of
prepping for this exam!
