A lift is defined as an unreeling and recovery of the cable with a load attached to the hook, independently of the length of the cable that is deployed / recovered. An unreeling / recovery of the cable with no load on the hook is not considered to be a lift. Any operation where a load is attached for half the operation (i.e. unreeling or recovery) must be considered as a lift. When the helicopter operates in a sandy or dusty environment, multiply by two the hours of operation with a load attached to the cargo hook. This applies also when the helicopter is used for logging works. AMPI (EASA) - 0B-A-05-12-00-00A-000A-A Component overhaul schedule - General Printed on 1/6/2021
