SFR Confirmation January Homework 2021
January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus. Find out
more ​here​. Add the ​Litany of the Most Holy Name of Jesus​ to
your family prayers this month.
This month your homework will consist of familiarizing yourself with the Bible and reading key
stories from the book of Genesis. You can use a Catholic bible you already have or access
the ​USCCB Online Bible​, just select the book and chapter. You will then choose an activity
from the choices below each week to retell the Bible story. Get creative! We will select some
responses to showcase in this month’s Faith Community Meeting.
Retelling Activity Choice Board

presentation or an

You can also create a

Record yourself
retelling the story by

Parents:​ You can support your teen(s) this month by reading and discussing with them the
Bible stories. You can also work together to create the retelling activities.

Week of 1/10/21 - 1/16/21
1. Read the story of the Flood - Genesis Ch. 6: 5-22, Ch. 7, Ch. 8, and Ch. 9:1-17.
2. Retell this week’s bible stories in your own words using one of the choices in the Retelling
