● Introduced moral intensity and basing
his research on social psychology.
● Decision are made up of:
○ magnitude of consequences,
social consensus
○ probability of effect
○ temporal immediacy
○ concentration of effect.
● Basically, not all decision are the same

Example
Julie is an administrative secretary in a
Human Resources Department. Her good
friend, Ryan, is applying for a job with the
company and she has agreed to serve as
a reference for him. Ryan approaches her
for advice on preparing for the interview.
Julie has the actual interview questions
asked of all interviewees and considers
making him a copy of the list so he can
adequately prepare.
