HW Dear Peter, I am sending this letter to you, in order to tell you all about my tiring and difficult trip to Ankara, Turkey. I hope you are doing well and you are ready for a funny story. During the summer, I went to Ankara with my friends. We were travelling by plane and a rental car. We wanted to visit malls, museums and have some fun at the seaside. We planned a seven day trip, but things didn’t go as smoothly as planned. However, it was still fun. We planned something different for each day and of course each activity was based on our interest because we all like different things, but we still had the same dream. All of us desperately wanted to visit Ankara and Turkey itself. I travelled with 3 of my friends, Cara, Parker and Marty. All of them are big travel maniacs and love to visit new places and learn new things. They were the people who encouraged me to go on this trip in the first place and they made it unforgettable. We stayed at different motels each night because it was cheaper. The motels weren’t the best but when you have company everything isn’t as bad as it sounds. During the trip we learned a lot about Turkish history and their empires. We learned some Turkish words and taught the civilians some English. All of us enjoyed learning, travelling and meeting new people. It was almost flawless. Even though the trip and the places we visited were perfect, the flight was really stressful. During the flight, there was turbulence and we almost crashed because of a storm. As a person who doesn’t enjoy flying I can say that the experience was really disturbing, terrifying and stressful. And it wasn’t only me. My friends and I discussed the flight and all of us agree that it was a terrible experience that we would never forget. This was the only big problem during our trip. However, the flight wasn’t our only problem. There were rats and cockroaches in one of the motels and I had to share my bed with them. It was disgusting and really unpleasant. In conclusion, the trip had its ups and downs, but we still managed to enjoy it as much as possible. There were some turn offs but if you look on the bright side, we learned a lot and gathered a lot of new information to retell and educate others. We were petrifies and amazed at the same time, but as I said the trip was enjoyed by everyone, including me. Kind regards, Stacey
