Objective: Summarizing what people
says
■ We summarize what other people says to
show we’re involved in the conversation:
■ Monica: Today I have to go to the dentist,
go to the gym, meet with some friends to
have lunch, work, go to the gym, and have
dinner with my parents.
■ Andres: Wow. You have a busy day ahead.
Match each statement with the best response. Write the
