Dawn of Haley Bennett
Haley Bennett (born Haley Loraine Keeling; January 7, 1988) is
an American singer and actress. Bennett was born in Fort
Myers, Florida . Birth name Haley Keeling , the daughter of
Leilani Dorsey Bennett and Ronald Keeling . She was raised in
Naples , Florida . She and her father had to move to Ohio after
her parents got divorced and Haley started her academic
journey in Stow Ohio at Lakeview Intermediate , Kimpton
Middle School and Stow-Monroe Falls High School, Ohio at the
age 10 . She later studied music and acting while attending
Barron Collier High School and again attended Barbizon School
for modeling and acting . In one of her interviews , she revealed
that she always felt like an social outcast ,and how her
childhood as “nomadic’ , as she moved between living with
father in Ohio and mother in Florida. She got to spend her
childhood with both her parents simultaneously but separately
as they got divorced and lived separately . During senior year ,
when she turned 18 ,she persuaded her mother to take her to
Los Angeles , California to pursue Haley’s career as actor for 3
months in 2005.
First Bennett made film debut as the pop star Cora Corman in
the romantic comedy Music and Lyrics (2007) . She sang several
songs for the film’s soundtrack . Bennett’s popular were
“Budhha’s
Delight” and “Way Back into Love” and sang some parts of
“Entering Bootytown” and “Slam”. Haley first appeared in the
GQ/Features Section, she also signed with 550 Music/NuSound
Record (Epic Records) in the same year. And began working on
her album , even though one of it was never released. Bennett
even performed in her first live concert at The Mint in Lose
Angeles on June of 2008.
She said in an interview in 2016 . She had come an long way
from where she started , everyone have their own journey and
all goal and she didn’t really know how common her ’s . She
came in LA with no solid plans and goals but it worked out for
her and the talent she had. She added no one from her family
even got out of California but she made it up to there with her
passion. She learned about the talents and wonders Los
Angeles hold but were not being placed in the proper, and
when the odds are stacked against one it is harder to compete.
It was her third audition and that’s when she won the role in
her first debut romantic comedy Music and lyrics. She
expressed the gratitude towards the role she got to play and
experience she got in the movie but she expressed that she
wanted more. After that film, even though she gained a lot of
publicity and fame from the film , she to struggled her way for
other roles .
Bennett was often introduced as a natural talent who
established herself in the world of Hollywood independently
with her hard work .
