RE: Your Learn as you Earn Program Contract with Kenyawriters.com
Please read and accept terms below before we get started.
1. Introduction
This program is meant for those selected to join ​kenyawriters.com​ Learn as you Earn
Program. The program caters for the following groups of people:
1.
Those who wish to get started in online articles
2.
Those who have experience in articles and academic writing and are not able to
get stable income or consistent clients
2. Basics of the Program
1.
To join the program, you must have a working account with ​kenyawriters.com
The fee is Ksh 3000, and you are given an offer to pay Ksh 1000 upfront, and
balance of Ksh 2000 be deducted from your initial earnings

Before a writer starts earning, they will be given between 1 to 6 practice
assignment articles. These articles will not be paid for, and they are meant to
build your portfolio of samples on kenyawriters.com platform
3. The 1 to 6 articles you do under mentorship represent 6 genres of articles you
shall be getting from our clients
4. A writer is allowed to use ALL articles they send to us during training
5. Writers under this program get jobs mainly from low paying clients, who may not
be strict in quality assessment. Before clients place order, they are made aware
that work will be assigned to trainees.
6. Once a writer completes the 6 tasks successfully, they are upgraded and their
details are forwarded to Order Manager who will start giving paid jobs
7. When a writer starts earning (after the 6 tasks), we deduct the balance of Ksh
2000 from initial earnings

We have three categories of writers:
Mentored Writers

2. A client will pay based on the category of writer they need. Below are the rates
payable depending on category a writer is in:
Mentored writer gets the following:

Ksh 125 per 500 words SEO article

Ksh 125 per 500 words rewrite
○
c)
Ksh 125 per 500 words review, press release/ webpage article
○
d)
Ksh 200 per 300 words academic article
Standard Writer gets the following:
a)
Ksh 200 to Ksh 400 per 500 words SEO article
b)
Ksh 210 to Ksh 400 per 500 words rewrite

Ksh 220 to Ksh 400 per 500 words review, press release/ webpage article
d)
Ksh 250 to ksh 300 per 300 words academic article
Elite Writer gets the following:
a)
Ksh 400 to Ksh 1000 per 500 words SEO article
b)
Ksh 400 to Ksh 1000 per 500 words rewrite
c)
Ksh 400 to Ksh 1000 per 500 words review, press release/ webpage article
d)
Ksh 310 to ksh 10000 per 300 words academic article
NB
A mentored writer can be assigned an elite writer’s order and paid equivalent rate
Management reserves the right to upgrade or downgrade writer
Progression from one level to another will be purely on merit.
While there are jobs assigned by mentors, a writer is free to bid on others offered by
clients directly in ​kenyawriters.com​ marketplace. They will therefore be allowed to
charge as much as they wish.
Payment Times, Withdrawals
You can withdraw your earnings one time per week. Withdrawals must be initiated by
Sunday 10PM and will be sent your account by Thursday the following week.
The system will only allow withdrawal if you have a payable balance exceeding Ksh
1000. Please note the balance of fees if you hadn’t paid upfront is deducted first before
withdrawal is processed.
Deadline/Quality/Plagiarism Policy
For an article to be paid, it must meet the required basic standards
1.
Must meet the basics in sentence structure, grammar, punctuation etc
2.
Must pass plagiarism test
3.
Must beat deadline
The management reserves the right to reject article submitted if it fails to meet the
above requirements.

Jobs Access
Jobs for those in mentorship program will be sent from a mentor’s email account or via
kenyawriters.com​ marketplace using a special invitation link. Jobs will be offered based
on ability of writer. The management is however not obligated to guarantee a job to a
writer based on their assessment of quality and previous experience.
Termination
The management reserves right to admit or terminate a mentee without notice based on
assessment. In case of termination or suspension, writer is only entitled to payment of
approved orders, and there will be no refund of registration or training fee.
Accepting the contract
Please reply with statement 'I accept contract as it is' if you are ready to be bound by
this. If not, feel free to decline, and we shall not get back to you again.
