ZEEMAX VENTURE is a Technology, R & D Joint Venture between Malaysian, South African & USA
University Research Affiliates, having a track record of a number of successful PROJECTS &
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT in a wide range of activities in sectors as diverse as Engineering,
Consultancy, Contracting & Supervision Services, and International Trading.
ZEEMAX VENTURE, having partners and associates in several countries of the world, has the main
objective to cross-transfer the best available technology in many fields of Science & Engineering.
While we give prominence to the promotion of Technology & Goods in a global context, we are
rapidly developing a knowledge hub for Research & Technology from various scientific spheres of

Engineering, Transient & Lightning Protection, Grounding & Bonding, Electrical, Mechanical,
Thermal & Chemical Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility & Microwave-Safety, Acoustic &

EARTHING/GROUNDING PRODUCTS OF ZEEMAX VENTURE
ZEEMAX VENTURE offers few of the extensively used and most successful Grounding-Products,
produced through several years of research and successful application in different regions around
the world by our researchers & renowned Grounding & LP professionals.
1) GCEM (Ground Conductivity Enhancing Material) is developed by ZEEMAX after several years
of Research & Development and has been quite extensively used very successfully to get the
required results in several locations all over the world. It is an ultra-conductive material that
improves grounding (earthing) effectiveness. It contains “Soil Resistivity Reducing Agent” which
substantially lowers the resistance of grounding system.
GCEM conforms to IEC 62561-7 (International Electrotechnical Commission), a Benchmark for
Low Resistivity & Corrosion Protection Performance of Ground / Earth Conductivity Enhancing
Materials.
2) BENTOEARTH is a type of clay consisting predominantly of SMECTITE minerals, usually
MONTMORILLONITE. The primary constituent of this clay is Hydrated Aluminum Silicate.
BENTOEARTH provides an effective solution for Electrical Grounding (Earthing) where certain
soil conditions make it difficult to obtain a reliable earth resistance, whilst particular
installations may require a very low Earthing Resistance values.
BENTOEARTH conforms to IEC 62561-7 (International Electrotechnical Commission), a

3) EGR (Electrolytic Grounding Rod) provides a low-impedance ground in locations of high soil
resistivity. With EGR as an electrode, the grounding system dissipates lightning energy and
other dangerous electrical fault currents, even in sandy or rocky soil conditions very effectively
