Before the class listens to the audio presentation, the teacher will give information about the author of the poem (Rabindranath Tagore). After that, the students will listen to the audio presentation while reading the context of the poem on the board. D. Discussion A. Post – Reading Activity Task 2. Q and A The teacher will ask these questions to the students: 1. What does the author want to happen to the motherland? 2. How do you think the author feels as he wrote the poem? 3. What do you think happened in India that made the author wrote this poem? 4. The speaker said something about a “puppet’s world”, what do you think does this mean? 5. Talking about the Philippines’ history, what similar experience did our country have with India? E. Continuation of the Discussion The teacher will go back to the words that the students studied.
