As American society approaches its natural limits involving limited resources, energy has
become one of the most important topics of our time. If we are to achieve sustainability, we will
need to re-vision the future and change our energy policies and practices. This project is an
opportunity for you to be a part of that change. The goal is to research a question of interest
regarding energy sustainability. From this, you can generate an energy plan that could be used
in your city/state.
Instructions:
1. Once placed in your groups, use the preassigned link for the powerpoint given to you by
the teacher. This will be the slideshow you edit for your presentation. DO NOT MAKE A
NEW ONE.
2. Students must use allotted time in class to work together in breakout groups to generate
an energy plan.
3. Students should use the chat feature on the slides to communicate with each other if
working together outside of class.
4. Answer the following questions in your powerpoint to support your plan.
1. How does your region use the energy source to generate power?
2. In what specific city/town/community is the project used?

7. How would it affect the community? (Positive and/or Negative)

contributions?
5. Ensure that you answer the above questions in some format in your presentation, while
incorporating images relative to your energy plan.
