A takeaway allows you to choose exactly what you want; you can add extras, sides and choose what suits your tastes rather than having to
have what everyone else does. Take away homework allows you control over what tasks you complete.
The rules

Tasks are rated from ‘extra hot’ to ‘plain...ish’ depending on the difficulty level of the tasks. As a guide the tasks relate to the skills you
would need to get certain grades and are as follows:
A

E

Students should choose tasks that are rated at or above their target grade e.g. those students who are targeted a C grade should
choose a minimum of ‘Medium’ rated tasks, those students who are targeted a B grade should choose a minimum of ‘Hot’ tasks.

Over the course of the homework period you should choose from each section e.g. one task from ‘Appeteasers’ and one from ‘Peri Peri
Chicken’

