I strongly agree with the reporter. I found around 4 instances where I was fascinated and completely related with the reporter . The first is the idea that the world today is preconditioned to fast replies. As emails don’t offer instant responses and instant gratification like numerous other social media applications were you atleast know that your message has been seen. Secondly I believe that Waiting for an email can be really stressful and also may cause anxiety but as the reporter said this issue can be solved by providing your recipient with a timeline on how urgent your message is and this definitely could get you a faster reply but even this is not certain or under your control . On the third note ,Slow and sloppy replies can also cause impact on ones productivity .I have been in this situation many times and I believe that the slower the message received the huge time crunch on completing a task is found . This could result in poor performance on a task. Lastly ,everybody has workload and there is a high chance that they have a lot of other things to take care of hence they have not had a chance to look at your email and respond quickly .This problem can be solved by pritorization of urgent emails. Emails when not responded can be contacted in various ways as we live in a highly communicated, technologically advance environment today.
