Measuring Tape: used to measure distance

Multi meter: used to measure voltage and
resistance.:
Level bar: used to check if the surface or edges
are in good level; used to ensure uprightness of
equipment and rack.
Compass: used to indicate the direction of the
magnetic north and indicate the azimuth of the
antenna.

Silicon gun: used to apply silicon sealant.
Impact hammer drill: used to drill holes on
concrete footings.

Vacuum cleaner: used to suck up dust and dirt.

Nylon rope: used together with shackle,
pulley ,and choker to lift tools or materials and
transport them to a higher location.
Steel rope: same usage as with nylon rope,
recommended for lifting heavy loads.
Shackle: used to secure heavy loads to be lifted
together with the choker.

Pulley: for holding a rope or cable or belt.
pulleys are used to change the direction of an
applied force, transmit rotational motion, or
realize a mechanical advantage in either a linear
or rotational system of motion.
Winch: used to wind up a wire rope, consists
of a spool and attached crank; used to lift
antenna and feeder cable on the tower.
Safety belt: used to protect the person from
falling.

IF Cable Connector (8D-FB)
8D-FB connector (L-Type)
This connector used to connect IDU and
ODU. The L-type connector used for
indoor side. The straight-type one used
for outdoor and need to be sealed with
self-bonding water proof tape.

Power Cable
The cable code is 1.0mm2 . The cable color used are
BLUE(-) and RED(+). It is used to connect the equipment
(IDU) to DCPDB for power source.
ODU & 19" RACK Grounding Cable
The cable code is 16mm2. It is used to provide as
grounding of ODU on the tower and 19" Rack in the site
room. The color of this cable being used is yellow with
green stripes.
IDU Grounding Cable
It is used for the grounding of the equipment (IDU)
mounted on the rack inside the site room. Cable code is
2.5mm2 and BLACK in color.

Adhesive Tape (Red, Blue, & Green)
These tape used for cable insulation. Red for power
cable insulation (+), Blue for power cable insulation (-)
and Green for earth cable insulation.
Thimbles
The size varies with respect to the size of the
cable where it is connected. The sizes being
used are OT1.5-4 for power cable, OT2.5-5 for
IDU earth cable, OT14-6 for ODU and Rack earth
cable.

Screw For IDU
These screw used for IDU fixation with rack.
Self Bonding Water Proof Tape
This item is used for the protection of splicing
and termination on connectors in the IF Cable.

Cable Ties
It is used to tie the cables on the cable rack upon
installation. Black in color, big cable ties used in outdoor
for fixing IF cable to feeder ladder, while the small one
used in indoor for fixing power and signal cables.
IF Cable (8D-FB)
This cable is used to transmit signal and power between
IDU (Indoor Unit) and ODU (Outdoor Unit).
Traffic Cable/E1 Cables
This cable are assembled manually consisting of multiple
pairs signal cable to be terminated and soldered in a DB-37
pin connector. Cable lengths are assembled base on the
length requirement on site.

to mark the traffic cable、IF cable、power cable.

Used for engineering testing communication.

(1) ODU direct mounting to the antenna:
According the request change ODU polarization, the design
polarization decision which the plate marked is up.
The ODU and the antenna polarization is the same.

Installation H type connecter and ODU grounding :
IF cables/Feeder should be lined up tidily and
neatly, and should be no obvious breakage or
distortion, The bending radius of the IF cable
should be to or greater than 55mm.
The connecter should be wrapped selfbonding tape tightly, twice or more around
the IF cable connecter for waterproof.
ODU grounding connecter wrapped tape
prevent rust. and any exposed copper is not
allowed. RX LEN Mon should be covered.

The IF cable proper length should be reserved
for IF cable connecter . and the cable fixed on
the tower leg.
The ODU grounding cable connected to
the grounding bus bar tighter.

the tie-wrap. The IF cable must fix not loosened
but not strong tightened and not any
deformation. IF cables should be lined up tidily

Squeeze the ratchet is released.

Lay the site room cables.
Make sure enough length is reserved for cables around the corner, and keep the consistent
bending. Proper length should be reserved for the cable connectors.
The cables should be bound tidily and neatly, the cable ties should be evenly arranged with
proper tightness in the same way.
The cabling should facilitate future maintenance and expansion

Case 1
Crimp no enough the ground cable wire into the lug terminal, the ground wire
conducts electricity function to descend;
The lug terminal wrap the PVC tape, avoid rust.

Method: clean site room and deratize, change new PCM cable, transmission is ok.
