Purpose
Content
Unit 1: Let me teach you something You learn a technique to help with
VITAL
your pronunciation skills that I teach
all my private students. It will help you
learn and practise ANY sound and
word in English so you can become
100% independent in your learning.
Learn how to pronounce any sound or
word in English by using the
technique I show you.
Unit 2: Let's master the voiced "th"
sound /ð/
Help people understand you better
and learn how to pronounce the
voiced and voiceless “th” sounds with
ease.
Explanation videos, plus word and
sentence practice videos so you can
mimic and start applying the
technique from unit 1.
Unit 4: How do I know when the
"th" is voiced or voiceless?
Have you ever wondered “how do I
know when the “th” is voiced or
voiceless?”. Well, this unit will help
you with that!
Three simple rules and videos to help
you know when to use a voiced or a
voiceless “th” sound.
Unit 5: I can't say "clothes" and
“months"!
Are the words clothes, months,
breaths, fifths, and linking words like
“that this…” and “did they…” difficult
for you and get in the way of your
fluency when you speak? This unit
will help solve this.
Detailed videos with seven difficult
sound combinations.
Unit 6: How do I know when the
"th" is a /t/?
Sometimes the spelling “th” is
pronounced as a /t/. But when? I’ll
show you with this easy rule!
A video and one easy rule detailing
how to tell if the “th” spelling is a /t/ or
not.
Unit 7: A tiny detail that can
seriously help with being
understood
We look at how vowel length is
affected by the “th” sounds and how
people can potentially misunderstand
you if you don’t get the vowel length
just right.
A video and explanation detailing how
the vowel is affected depending on
whether you’re using the voiced or
voiceless “th” sound in the word.
Unit 3: Let's master the voiceless
"th" sound /θ/
(I also haven’t found a single
pronunciation book or YouTube video
which covers this topic! So this will be
something new for many people).
Unit 8: How natives and nonnatives typically pronounce the
“th”
Natives and non-natives sometimes
say the “th” sounds in different ways,
so to make sure you understand other
people who do not (or maybe cannot)
pronounce the sounds /ð/ and /θ/, this
unit will show you the ways which
people pronounce these sounds.
Videos and explanations of the
comparisons between words which
have /ð/ and /θ/, and the ways that
natives and non-natives sometimes
say these sounds.
Units 9+: Six “practice packs” will
be added each week from the date
the course is launched
A new pack of words and sentences
will be released every week from the
date the course is released so you
receive MORE practice. By
continuously practising a little bit for
many weeks, the pronunciation of the
“th” sounds will stick much better!
At least six additional packs
containing videos with words and
sentences to practise the “th” sounds
further. The packs will also include
any requests which members have
made, so long as the requests are
related to the “th” sounds. If they are
not, then these questions will be
answered in the Facebook group’s
monthly live Q&A.
