*DBA Continuation Fees - Students registered on the Doctorate in Business Administration programme will be allowed one additional academic year to complete their final research paper. The
additional academic year is only available to students in the academic year following the 4 th year of the 4 year programme. Should additional time be required to complete the programme there after,
the student will be charged a continuation fee of €1,000 per year.
Notes for 2020/2021 Research Postgraduate Fees:

The Research Postgraduate fee schedule outlined above will apply for academic years 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23.

Please note the minimum Cumulative Research Postgraduate Tuition Fees due from full and part-time Irish/EU Research Postgraduate students are €9,000 for a Research
Masters Award, €13,500 for a Traditional PhD (Full-time and Part-time) Award, €18,000 for a Structured PhD (Full-time and Part-time). These minimum fee amounts must
be paid in full prior to completion and award, regardless of the actual time elapsed as a registered postgraduate student or the study mode (part-time or full-time).

Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) Continuation Fees - Students registered on the Doctorate in Business Administration programme will be allowed one
additional academic year to complete their final research paper. The additional academic year is only available to students in the academic year following the 4th year of the
4 year programme. Should additional time be required to complete the programme there after, the student will be charged a continuation fee of €1,000 per year.

To avail of the reduced fee for ‘International WIT Graduates’ International students must be self-financing and have successfully completed directly prior to entry into
postgraduate studies in WIT at least two years at undergraduate levels 6-8 or a combination of undergraduate and taught postgraduate level 9 for research postgraduate
study in Waterford Institute of Technology or have successfully completed an undergraduate programme levels 6-8/taught postgraduate level 9 between WIT and an
approved educational partner.

International Direct Applicant students undertaking funded research postgraduate studies with a WIT Research Centre/Group will qualify for the Irish/EU fee rate.

Please note the ‘INTR Module Fee’ is calculated on the overall ‘International Direct Entry’ programme fee rate.
International Students who are due to repeat a module will be charged at the ‘INTR Module Fee’ rate.
Students who have studied at WIT through the nursing programme (BSc and/or PG Dip) will be eligible for a reduced fee of €3,150 for the MSc in Nursing in WIT.
MSc in Computing – Reduced Fees for Irish/EU students who qualify for HEA support under the Government initiative to meet IT skills needs, identified by the Expert
Group on future skills needs.
The Government jobs initiative; Springboard, LMA and HEA ICT Skills etc., programme fees are not included in the above Taught Postgraduate Fee Schedule.
Special programmes may be commissioned to meet the needs of industry partners. In such case a separate fee structure may apply.
All Programmes listed above are subject to demand, therefore some programmes may not run.
