Bid Detail
Description
Scope of Services The City of Fontana is soliciting bids for an annual contract for the purchasing of recycling container combo sets. The
contract will cover a two-year period beginning with the award of the contract with the option to renew for three additional
one-year increments at the sole discretion of the City.
The specifications as herein set forth are intended to describe type, size and quality of the containers to be purchased.
Bid proposals must be submitted in compliance with specifications as listed, in order to meet the current design standards of
containers being utilized at City facilities.
The City of Fontana Public Works staff will order containers on an As-NEEDED BASIS. A written request order will be
submitted to the vendor via a-mail, fax or mailed latter. It will be the responsibility of the vendor to provide a written quote
based on the ''The Schedule of Prices. City staff will review the written quote and provide a signed copy as approval to
purchase containers. All quotes from vendor must include; container costs, shipping costs, CA tax and any other cost not
listed (if applicable}. The City may purchase other recycling container products and/or supplies from vendor that is not
listed on "Bid Sheet".
These containers are purchased with State grant funds. The City reserves the right not to make any container purchases
if the State discontinues the grant program (City/County Payment Program).

Submittal Deadline. Such submission, if any, must be sent using the bids online system at www.fontanapurchasing.org.
