Biomes Research Project
This project will be a power point, Google Slides or Prezi presentation. You will choose a
biome, research it, then present it to the class. Your presentation will be at least 8 slides.
Adding a video to your presentation would be considered one slide. Use the internet to
research your chosen biome. Your introductory slide is considered the first slide. Your project
will include:
~ Creativity - using a common design for slides, appealing to your viewers (10 points)
~ At least 1 picture per slide (10 points)
Slide #1: Title slide, must include the name of your Biome and your name (10 points)
Slide #2: Climate of your biome (temperature, rainfall, etc) (10 points).
Slide #3: Where is your biome located? This may include many different countries. (10 points)
Slide #4: What is the dominant vegetation and plant life? (10 points)
Slide #5: What type of animals live in your biome? (10 points)
Slide #6 What adaptations have these plants and animals acquired to survive in this type of biome?
(10 points)
Slide #7: Are there any dangers or possible threats to this biome? (10 points)
Slide #8: Describe 3 interesting facts about your chosen biome. Each fact must be descriptive.
Interesting facts may include industry (businesses), activities to participate in, local food for
humans, etc. (10 points)
