Eric Braeden is a German-born American actor, well known for his role in the series Victor
Newman. He was really a dedicated person full of talents who had won the Daytime Emmy
Award for a lead actor from the drama Victor Newman. Eric Braeden was born on April 3, 1941,
in Bredenbek, Germany where his birth name was Hans-Jorg Gudegast. He lived in Kiel which
is the Capital city in northern Germany where his father once used to be a mayor. Braeden is
now 79 years old where he has been active from 1960 to now. Braeden married actress Dale
Russell in 1966 where they had a son in 1970 whose name is Christian Gudegast. Eric was
really a committed man were loved his family so much and they spend their life happily even if
there are ups and downs. They manage each other and support each other which made their
love more powerful. Eric’s son Christian also becomes the successful person in his life and he is
now known as a director where he had directed the movie like Den of Thieves. ​Eric Braeden
was able to win a Daytime Emmy Award for his outstanding role in 1998 were on 2017,
February, Braeden was very happy to celebrate his 37th anniversary with the show. Later, the
show made an announcement of Braeden’s 40th anniversary as Victor onscreen.
