CONCLUSION
The training exposed me to the latest technology in information technology industry like
hardware components and internet technology.
In the other hand, the industrial training period was demanding and required a lot of
sacrifices to gain much experience.
In conclusion, the industrial has greatly changed my way of thinking and it as transformed
my career to be a better computer engineering student.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
In view of the relevance of SIWES program, it is important that it is sustained by the
government through the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) as it exposes the student to work tools,
facilities and equipment that may not be available in their respective institution and course of
study.
To this end, I recommended that the following under-listed points should be implemented.
There should be proper supervision of the student concerned by both the ITF officials and the
institution-based supervisor.
Most of the government institutions should make it as a service to pay a monthly stipend to the
students concerned.
Proper placement of the student for such programme by the industrial training department to
each institution through creating a strong alliance with different companies
The companies should put in place all the necessary facilities needed to enhance the knowledge
of the student in industrial attachment.
Improvement of allowance and free transport services for students attached to the various
organization.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Challenges that we were confronted with at the help desk we're mainly centered on
poor interpersonal relationship between the SIWES students. This was put in check
with via the intervention of our supervisor through discussion and meeting. Also,
when user call in, some of them are either rude and talk impolitely, or most do not
even know how to table their complaint. So I was told to try and be patient and
understanding with some of these users.
