Given today’s context, choose one of the Rights that you think is timely to discuss.
Explain your choice.
In today’s situation, I think “Right to information on matters of public concern”
should be discussed. As a citizen, we should have the right to search, ask, receive
and impose or introduce information about public concern. In regards of this
pandemic we are facing right now, I will generalize the allocation of the budget
to be access publicly. My father is a tax payer and as tax payer, he should have
the right to know how the budget is allocated, where every single coin is going,
where it has been and where it will go. He worked hard to pay tax so why not that
he should have access to public records and information when it comes to
budget.
