Assignment:
For this
assignment you will utilize the country, population and
health concern that you
identified in Module 2.
Formulate a
plan of action to address that health concern and the
following topics:
1. What would
be the plan’s main goals?
2. Who
might be on your team (professionals) and why, describe
their roles.
3. What
would your team’s research focus on?
4. Where
would the project funding come from?
5. What
policies/partnerships would need to be created, changed
and/or formed?
6. What
would be the plan’s objectives to achieve the goals
(measurable)?
7. What
would be the top two interventions to meet the objectives?
8. How will
the plan be implemented and subsequently evaluate for
effectiveness?
Please
submit one APA formatted presentation (PowerPoint®, Prezi®,
etc.) of at least 2
slides per topic noted above. The assignment should have a
minimum of four
scholarly sources, in addition to the textbook.
Remember to
schedule your final project presentation conference with
your instructor, which
will be a 1:1 video-telephone interaction to discuss and
defend your Module 8
plan of action presentation. This meeting should take
approximately 20-30
minutes and you will need access to both a phone and a
computer,
simultaneously.
Additionally,
complete the immersion hours form describing your
coursework activities
consisting of 80 hours for this course and submit with your
essay to the
dropbox for your instructor’s signature, approval and
verification. Here is the
form: Immersion Hours Log
Submit to
the dropbox, documentation of the 80 hours of immersion
towards the total 1000
hours for the DNP Degree.
Students
must document 80 immersion hours during this
course. Immersion Practice Hours
are banked using the process found in the DNP Lounge. In
addition to submitting
80 immersion hours to the module 8 dropbox during this
course, after your
course instructor has signed the immersion hour log,
verifying completion of
the 80 hours required for this class and returns the logs
to you – submit the
signed, verified Immersion Hours to the DNP Lounge dropbox.
After the
course instructor signs the form and returns the log to
you, you will upload
the verified log the dropbox within the DNP lounge.
