Pembahasan materi meliput pengenalan istilah
sebutan berbagai sebab luar morbiditas dan mortalitas,
cara menentukan kode diagnosis yang akurat, tepat dan
berhasilguna menunjang sistem informasi morbiditas
dan mortalitas yang dikembangkan

TUJUAN INSTRUKSIONAL UMUM
Mampu menentukan kode sebab luar morbiditas
dan mortalitas dengan presisi, akurat dan tepat,
berhasil mengumpulkan, menyimpannya dan
mengambil kembali bagi kepentingan penyelesaian
sistem pelaporan rutin morbidtas dan mortalitas
sebab cedera luar yang diterapkan fasilitas asuhan
pelayanan ataupun yang suatu waktu diperlukan
oleh manajemen kesehatan umum, kerja, akibat
kerja berserta berbagai diagnoses cedera akibat
berbagai sebab luar.

EXTERNAL CAUSES OF MORBIDITY & MORTALITY
(V01 – Y98)
• Bab ini meliput klasifikasi dari kejadian (event) lingkungan dan
keadaan sekitarnya sebagai kausa suatu cedera, keracunan
dan efek yang merugikan, pertentangan atau permusuhan,
ketidakcocokan, atau berlawanan,
• Code pada Bab XX diaplikasikan untuk melengkapi code pada
Bab-bab lain, terutama Bab XIX.
• Causes of death ditabulasi berdasakan Bab XIX dan Bab XX,
apabila hanya mengunakan satu code sebab kematian maka
hanya code Bab XX yang digunakan.
• Kondisi lain-2 yang bisa disebut timbul karena sebab luar
terklasifikasi pada Bab I – XVIII
Untuk ini code Bab XX digunakan sebagai informasi tambahan
(Additional information), hanya untuk analisis kondisi multiple.
