Steps for Approval of a Transfer
1. Associate initiates the transfer by completing Parts I, II, III and IV of the form,
2. The associate then gives the form to their Supervisor/Manager for approval. If the
Supervisor/Manager approves then the form is given to a second level Manager and to a third
level manager. All signatures are in Part VI.
3. If the transfer is declined then the manager must indicate the reason in Part V.
4. The approved or denied transfer form is then sent to the HR leader.
5. HR will verify the information in Part III Current Assignment and will confirm if the associate is
eligible for transfer. The HR leader will advise the associate if the transfer was approved or
declined.
6. The sending HR leader will forward the form to the receiving HR leader for processing.
7. The receiving HR leader will contact the receiving manager to verify the information in Part III
Proposed Assignment and will let the manager know if the transfer was approved.
8. If the transfer was approved, the HR leader will forward the form to the receiving manager for
signature in Part VI.
9. The receiving manager will then return the signed form to their HR leader.
10. The sending manager will be advised by their HR leader to initiate the transfer in ADP to the
receiving manager.
11. The sending HR leader will forward all associate information to the receiving HR leader.
