Introduction:
This experiment contained three sections which aimed to measure the effect of Beer’s Law on
cobalt chloride. The first section consisted of measuring the absorption of a sample of cobalt
chloride from a range of 400 to 650 nanometers. The second, involved the measure of absorption
through cobalt chloride of varying molarity. The third determined the unknown concentration of
a sample of cobalt chloride.
