Make sure that the lamp is charging when it’s exposed to sunlight (red LED on for the S10 and green LED on for the S250). Charge the lamp for a full day. If you’re still having problems, bring your warranty card and all the kit components to your Total dealer. F – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS S10 and S250 What happens when it’s cloudy or if the solar panel is in shade? If it’s not too cloudy and still daylight, the lamp will charge but will take longer than if it’s sunny out. For example, if the sky is very cloudy, your lamp will provide light for only half as long as when it’s sunny out. What happens if I use my lamp when it’s raining? The lamp and the panel are weather-resistant so they can withstand rain. However, it’s not a good idea to leave the panel outside during a storm. The panel is small and could be blown away and damaged. What is the product life span? The S10 and the S250 have a 1-year warranty. However, they have a life span of up to five years for the S250 and two to three years for the S10. F - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS S250 When I charge the S250, can I leave the lamp in the sun? It’s better to leave the lamp in the shade or inside when the solar panel is in the sun. If the battery gets too hot, it will no longer charge as efficiently. Can I use the lamp and charge my cellphone at the same time? If the lamp has charged for a full day, a cellphone can be charged for one hour. However, because charging the cellphone will drain the lamp’s battery, you will only be able to use the lamp for a shorter period of time. Which phones can be charged with the S250? Most standard phones: Nokia, Samsung and Motorola. However, some phones are not compatible. Before buying the kit, make sure your phone is compatible.
