COMPANY BRIEF BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
PCS CLEANING SERVICES is a cleaning service provider which opened its doors for the first time in 2015. We
have established branches in KwaZulu Natal and Johannesburg. In every aspect of our business, we strive to
earn and keep the trust our clients give us by opening their homes and business spaces to us. We are
committed to providing professional and efficient services, tailored to meet the different needs and
preferences of our clients. We supply the following services: Commercial Cleaning services, Sanitizing
Services, High end Window cleaning, Waste Collectionand Residential Cleaning.
THE MAIN MOTIVATION for starting the business was a housekeeper who worked for my neighbour. The
house keeper worked under harsh and unregulated working conditions, with an unfair wage pay and an
undefined job description. This made me realise that the community we are in needed more cleaning
companies to serve as a middle man between the employer and the employees especially in the residential
cleaning part of the industry . Knowing that a house keeper is employed through a registered and Bargaining
Council regulated company meant that both the employer and the employee were protected and exchange
of services for cash happened smoothly. As a result the purpose and vision of the company is to serve as a
mediator and
to facilitate a working relationship between the client (those who need cleaning services) and the cleaning
staff (those who supply the cleaning services mostly the less educated class). The vision is to contribute to
the development of the cleaning industry by training one employee at a time especially now that the
cleaning industry is an essential service provider.
OUR CORE VALUES are Trust, Consistency, Building lasting relationships, Commitment, Training
Dependability, Strong decision making and Flexibility. OUR TEAM: Our staff comprises of 36 friendly, loyal
and trustworthy cleaners and 2 supervisors trained to handle working in different environments. 1
Operations manager and one Office Administrator. The owner is hands on in the daily running of the
business. Our recruitment benchmark is not only based on experience but also trust, honesty and integrity.
We also provide entry levels positions and train our inexperienced staff to the standard of the services we
provide.
