1. “Do good; avoid evil” is the foundational moral principle. List at least 5 good
things that you have to do as a teacher and 5 evil things you have to avoid doing.

1. I will respect my co-teachers, my students,
and other school personnel as well as my
school.
1. I will avoid breaking up school rules as well
as the law of the society.
2. I will trust my school and government. I will
also show trust to my students.
2. I will avoid badmouthing and gossiping.
3. I will understand my school and student’s
situations.
3. I will avoid rushing things.
4. I will be responsible to fulfill my duty as an
educator and be a good example to my
students.
4. I will avoid favoritism.
5. I will be fair to my students. I will also listen
to their concerns.
5. I will avoid humiliation of my students. I will
not raise my voice and yell at them.
2. Give a concrete application of the golden rule as you relate to a learner, to a
fellow teacher, to a parent or any member of the community and to your
superiors.
As a teacher, we need to show respect and be a good example to everyone –
to your students, fellow teachers, parents and to the society. Because we are
the molder of the nation. We build citizens of the future. We must serve as a
good example for them.
