Richard Parker Outline for a speech How to Bass Fish I.Introduction A. I have been fishing since I was able to walk. Fishing is relaxing and I think that everyone would enjoy it. B. In my speech today I will be telling you all what you need to fish, where to fish, and how to fish. 1. What you need to fish 2. Where and When to fish 3. How to fish II.First Main Point: What you need to fish A. There are some basics you need to grab before you go on a fishing trip. 1. All of these items serve a purpose on the trip. a) Camo and a knife (1) This helps disguise yourself from the fish (2) The knife is useful because it helps cut fishing line and great in emergencies. b) Fishing Lures and Rod (1) Watermelon Candy is my lure of choice it will almost always guarantee you a bite due to its green color that blends in with the lake and the redish colored sparkles that reflect when the sun hits it. Richard Parker (2) The rod is obviously the most important thing to have on a fishing trip I usually use a Zebco 202 due to it usually not having issues. III.Second Main Point: Where and When to fish a) You need to know where the bass will be so you know where to cast in. (1) Bass will most likely be found in water with a surplus of algae usually in the shade or around fallen trees or branches. (2) Bass will always be found in freshwater usually in lakes. . B. Knowing the best times to go fishing is also important. 1. Usually it is best to go fishing early in the morning because bass always wake up hungry. IV.Main Point 3: How to catch the bass A. Bass are more complex to catch than catfish or almost any other freshwater fish. 1. It is important to keep the lure moving by using a jerking motion and reeling as you go. 2. The goal is to catch the attention of the fish and make it seem as if the lure is a living creature. V.Conclusion A. Bass fishing can be difficult but with my instructions you can achieve success. 1.
