SIMULATION REPORT September 16, 2020 TEACHER SIMULATOR: Jenny Fe A. Apolog Modality: PMDL, BDL2(ODL) Teacher-Simulator Monitor: Dinah B. Dumlao Grade & Subject: General Chemistry I Date & Time: 09/16/2020 1:00- 3:30 P.M. No. of Learners: PMDL & ODL= 10 PMDL = 10 Total = 20 School Head: Mr. Marcos T. Antonio, Jr., Head Teacher III Dr. Corazon C. Frez, School Principal IV Topic: Formulas of Common Chemical Compounds Monitoring Teachers/Class Monitors: 1. Miss Maribel A. Angana 2. Mrs. Veronica Q. Tejada 3. Mr. Marlon M. Agustin Monitoring Supervisor: Mrs. Ritchelle B. Dejolde EPS-English Class Monitors Learner’s Feedback PMDL & ODL 1. The presentation and the discussion were good; some students really prefer online class because topics can be well explained, and they can ask follow-up questions. 2. today’s online simulation class was a little bit chaotic because of the slow internet connection and unintentional undistributed modules, however the teacher did an amazing explanation on the topic. 3. The simulation is good but sometimes I got disconnected due to poor internet connection plus no module were given to us on the topic the teacher is discussing. PMDL 1. Learners received and started accomplishing the tasks stated in the module on time. 2. The module has its own advantage and disadvantage, one advantage is it doesn’t need an internet connection but as a disadvantage is there are some lesson that we can’t understand without the help of our teacher. Parent’s Feedback 1. Some of the parents still prefer face to face class because teacher can assist the students with their studies. 2. Good job for the teacher. Teacher- Simulator Teacher-Simulator Feedback 1. The teacher-simulator started the class on time with a prayer and check the attendance of the students 2. The teacher encouraged the learners to answer and participate in the class activities. 3. The teacher showed mastery in the subject matter. 4. The conducted simulation in General Chemistry it was a success. Points for improvement: 1. The teacher should let the students open their camera and maximize the use of microphones. 2. The teacher should check her weekly working plan and check if the students have their module. School Head Observations: 1. The teacher-simulator had a good motivation. 2. The teacher-simulator checked the student’s attendance before starting the class. She also uses a good PowerPoint presentation. 3. The teacher-simulator used the chat box in gathering answers of students. She also encouraged the learners to speak English. 4. The class was a success. ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING Mrs., Jenny Fe Apolog online simulation in General Chemistry I for the Grade 11 STEM students. Grade 11 SHS students use the Blended Distance Learning 2 (BDL2) modality Grade 11 SHS students use the Printed Modular Distance Learning modality Prepared by: Checked & Verified: DINAH B.
