When printing this
activity, be sure to
select “scale to fit
page” or “fit” in your
printer settings. This
will ensure that all of
the black margins
appear on the pages.

To prepare this packet, just print the
activity mats and laminate or slide in page
protectors. Students will need a paper clip
and a pencil to make a spinner. They will
also need small manipulatives to cover
their answers. Plastic linking cubes or mini
erasers work great for this!
Students will spin the spinner and identify
whether the letter they spun is an
uppercase or lowercase letter. They will
cover the corresponding letter on their
activity mat. Students will continue
spinning and covering the letters until all
of the spaces are covered.
