The paper "Things to Do When You Are Bored" is a good example of an essay on creative writing. Boredom can be a college worst enemy
but it can also be his best friend. Why do I say that? Because it is how one’ s own perspective & creativity determines if it’ s going to be an “
awesome and rocking good time” or “ wish-I-didn’ t-get-out-of-bed-today-coz-its-been-a-waste-of-my-precious-time” . But seriously, there are
a lot of choices out there to do if one is having a boring day. Imagination is the key and below is my list of things to do when I’ m bored.
Being a sports-minded person, other people might think that I’ ll be out there playing soccer in the eld.
That may be a most likely event, but gathering a team may pretty much take too much time and effort so I’ ll pass on this one on an ordinary,
boring day. Since I’ m bored, I’ d rather do unusual things just to “ break out of the habit” , so to speak. I’ d probably get out of the school
campus, just to shake off the academic pressure, and hang out at the mall with friends.
I’ d convince them to play arcade games or maybe go on a childish indoor ride! I also would like to try a new cuisine, maybe more on the
adventurous side, like Asian cuisine probably. I should just remember to bring Tums, just in case of an “ emergency” . If there’ s a good
movie showing, (Last Name) 2I’ ll probably watch one. If getting out of campus isn’ t possible and everybody is too busy to hang with me, I’ ll
probably spend time at home, order some pizza and watch some good ol’ TV.
Afterward, I’ ll be glued to the computer, sur ng the Internet. The possibilities are endless on the virtual Web. I can play online games or
watch some hilarious videos on YouTube. I can also do some catching up with friends on MySpace or check out the latest Victoria Secret
catalog. So, being bored can be a good thing at times. And if worse comes to worst, I’ ll just sleep and dream I’ m in some faraway beach
paradise, being served to my heart’ s content, basking in the warm glow of the sun.
