Science Plan, 2018-9, Years 7 and 8
Science in KI3 is taught using the three main subject areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We
follow a 3 year rolling programme that ensures that all the content and objectives of The
Cambridge Secondary One curriculum are met. We used the “Complete Biology, Chemistry and
Physics for Cambridge Secondary One” textbooks and workbooks, as a support to practical
scientific enquiry and investigations. Students are assessed for understanding after each unit and
take the Checkpoint examinations in Year 9.
