Create a Gmail account if you don’t have one
Create a project at Google Developers Console eg. Mydemoapp

Add the appengine API to your project

7. Create an Instance of your app (App Engine Instance) by clicking on the app engine menu ->instance-->select languane(python)-->select location …

8. Download and unzip coursebuilder on your PC(place it in a location where you can easily work
with eg. on the desktop)

10. Download and install CYGWIN

12. You may also install gcloud
13. https://dl.google.com/dl/cloudsdk/channels/rapid/GoogleCloudSDKInstaller.exe
14. Goto Command line on your PC
15. Change directory to coursebuilder/scripts
16. To deploy your app locally use the command..../windows_start_local.bat
17. Wait for all the libraries to be installed
18. To deploy online use the command .../windows_deploy.bat
19. Wait for all the libraries to be installed and configured
20. When u are asked for the instance to use, enter the instance you created in step 7. eg.
mydemoapp
21. Copy the authentication link and paste it in your browser
22. Copy the authentication code, switch to your application and paste it there
23. When deployment is complete, you will see this message.....Deployment to

24. Paste the link at step 23. Eg. https://mydemoapp.appspot.com in your browser to visit your app

25. Sign in to your Gmail account when prompted, to verify that it is you
26. You can now add a sample course or an empty course.
27. Done! With deployment.
28. Bravo!!! You can now create your course.
