Christmas Project Activity
Due Friday, 12/13
Each group will create a poster that depicts the Christmas traditions of their region of the world
picked at random. On the poster, you will include geography as to where your country is located,
Christmas traditions, foods eaten for the holiday, how to say Merry Christmas in the language of the
country, any Christmas symbols the country uses, how is Santa represented (or not), what typical
decorations are used in the country, etc. Be as creative as possible in depicting what Christmas is
like for your country. In addition, you will make a Christmas ornament which represents your country
Each group will take turns presenting their poster and ornament to the rest of the class. Each group
should take no more than 3-5 minutes to explain the elements they chose to incorporate on their
poster and why they were selected and what your Christmas ornament represents. Each person in
the group must contribute.
